Hey, I’m Taylor! The recipes you’ll find here are inspired by what I’ve found to work with my health conditions. I suffer from an autoimmune inflammatory condition as well as several food sensitivities/allergies. By making the switch to a vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free diet combined with lifestyle changes, I’ve been able to manage my symptoms. It’s been a long and frustrating journey with very little guidance along the way, which is what inspired me to create A Conscious Kitchen. 

I wanted to create a place where I could share what I’ve discovered to help others because it’s something I wish I had along the way. My hope is to provide information and be of help to anyone struggling with similar issues or just looking to make some health changes.

Throughout my life I’ve spent countless hours seeing doctors and specialists, doing research, modifying recipes, and learning through trial and error how to manage my health conditions. I now want to share my knowledge and help take some of the guesswork out of cooking and lifestyle habits that will hopefully save you time and frustration…all while staying budget friendly so you can save your money for the things you enjoy! 

I grew up spending time in the kitchen with my mom teaching me everything I know about cooking and baking. I have since taken my love for cooking and combined it with my passion for videography and photography and now spend my days recipe experimenting and documenting my creations to share with you!
