Blackberry Graveyard Smash Cocktail (with Mocktail)

It’s day 2 of the 7 days of Halloween cocktails and mocktails series! The Blackberry Graveyard Smash can easily be made as a cocktail or mocktail. This eerie drink is hauntingly delicious and perfect for a chilling night!

Ingredients for the Blackberry Graveyard Smash:

• Blackberries
• Tequila (or alcohol of choice)
• Fresh lemon juice
• Fresh orange juice
• Agave
• Cinnamon
• Sparkling water OR ginger beer
• Blackberries and/or cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)

Ingredients

Units USM Scale 1x2x3x

• Blackberries (I used 8)
• 1.5 oz. tequila (or alcohol of choice)
• 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
• 1/2 oz. fresh orange juice
• 1 Tbsp agave (or more if you like sweeter)
• 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
• Top with sparkling water OR ginger beer
• Garnish with blackberries and/or cinnamon sticks (optional)

Instructions

1. In a shaker, add blackberries and lemon juice. Muddle blackberries. Then add tequila, orange juice, agave, and cinnamon. Shake well to combine.
2. Fill glass with ice and pour mix into glass. Top with sparkling water.
3. Garnish with blackberries and/or cinnamon sticks.

Notes

• FOR MOCKTAIL: omit tequila. Top with sparkling water. Can add additional 1-2 tbsp of lemon and orange juice for extra fruit flavor.
