Paris Is Always A Good Idea

I was spending time in the UK this summer and took a day off from exploring London to visit Paris for the day because Paris is always a good idea! Now, we all know that just half a day in Paris isn’t nearly enough time to see all the incredible things the city has to offer. However, half a day is plenty of time for the perfect introduction to the city’s timeless charm!

If you do ever find yourself in Paris for the day, then I highly recommend taking the river cruise down the Seine. It’s about 1 hour and you get to see a lot of iconic sights, like Notre Dame. The Eiffel Tower is also just across the street from where the river cruise meets, which is the perfect opportunity to have a picnic after the cruise!

I think we all know by now that this year’s olympics was held in Paris. And even though I was there before the games started, it was still SO cool to see everything set up for the start of the olympic games.

Whether you’re in Paris for a half day or many days, don’t forget to end your day with a glass of wine at a cozy bistro, savoring the magical atmosphere that only Paris can offer.
